A greenhouse comprising at least one gutter section (3) and a roof (1) extending from said gutter section, which roof comprises a ridge section (2) as well as spaced-apart glazing bars (4) which are connected to an edge of the gutter section near one end and to the ridge section near the other end, whilst panes (5) are provided between adjacent glazing bars, which panes are supported in rebates in the glazing bars, in a rebate in the gutter section and between two flanges (6, 7) arranged one above the other of the ridge section, a special feature being the fact that a pressure-distributing element (9) is provided between the flanges of the ridge section, at least substantially in abutment with said flanges and with a web (8) of the ridge section that interconnects the flanges, wherein the pressure-distributing element comprises at least one spring tongue (10, 11) which extends inward from a part of the pressure-distributing element that abuts against one of the flanges.
