PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemostatic device capable of safely and simply reducing compression force while compressing a puncture site of a limb.SOLUTION: A hemostatic device 1 comprises: a belt body 2 wrapped around and fixed to a site where bleeding is stopped a balloon 5 (auxiliary balloon 6) which is an inflation member connected to the belt body 2 and inflating and applying a compression force needed to stop the bleeding of the site when a fluid is injected a pressure reduction member 150 for purging a quantity of the fluid from within the inflation member to reduce the compression force of the inflation member and a fluid supply member (syringe 200) for injecting the fluid into the inflation member. The pressure reduction member 150 includes a partition member 160 which serves as a partition between a storage chamber (e.g., a storage chamber SP1 and a second storage chamber SP2) for storing a quantity of the fluid and the inflation member, and which when moved, connects the inflation member and the storage chamber to introduce the fluid inside inflation member to the storage chamber.
