PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic hair washing machine capable of washing hair in a sensibility similar to that when hair washing is performed by manual.SOLUTION: An automatic hair washing machine comprises: a washing part 10 comprising a cover member 11 having a head holding space 11h in which a head of a person is arranged, plural contact pieces 12 which are axis-state members, and are arranged in an inner surface 11a of the cover member 11 movably in an axial direction, and energization means 20 for energizing the plural contact pieces 12 toward the head holding space 11h.
