PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that when breasts are observed by an examination site information acquisition apparatus, the observation takes longer time before completion, and the apparatus requires a larger size, in particular a wider examination table.SOLUTION: An examination site information acquisition apparatus comprises: two examination site holding members configured to hold examination sites and two receivers disposed corresponding to the two examination site holding members respectively, and configured to receive acoustic waves. Each of the two receivers includes: plural transducers for receiving acoustic waves and a supporting member on which the plural transducers are disposed. Some of the plural transducers are configured to have the highest reception sensitivity the direction of which is different from the direction of the highest reception sensitivity of the other of the plural transducers.
