PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shell peeler capable of peeling the shell of various peanuts of different sizes and shapes.SOLUTION: A shell peeler 1 includes: an inner cylinder 2 having a vertically extending shaft line G； an external cylinder 3 which is coaxially placed with an axis of the inner cylinder 2 and surrounds the inner cylinder 2 having a gap S between the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 2 and itself； and rotation means which relatively rotates the inner cylinder 2 and the external cylinder 3 around the axis line G. The width of the gap S is narrower as being closer to the bottom. The inner cylinder 2 is formed with a plurality of first holes 10 opening on an outer peripheral surface 2a.
