PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a method, and a program for estimating an health index which can reduce error resulting from data which become the base of a presumption formula.
SOLUTION: A memory means stores a health index presumption formula in which a health index is expressed as the function of human body composition data, and an operation means computes the health index as an estimate using the human body composition data inputted from an input means and the health index presumption formula stored by the memory means (S2-S8) and corrects the health index presumption formula stored by the memory means using the health index and the human body composition data, when the health index is inputted with the human body composition data from the input means (S11, 12), stores the corrected health index presumption formula in the memory means (S13), and thereafter performs the calculation of the health index using the corrected health index presumption formula when the human body composition data are inputted from the input means (S2-S8).
