The present invention relates to a laser beam device and to a laser beam handpiece having the same, wherein the laser beam device outputs a laser beam which is polarized and has high output energy. The laser beam device, according to the present invention, comprises: a light source unit emitting pumping light； a first optical unit generating a laser beam which is polarized by being pumped by pumping light provided from the light source unit； and a second optical unit amplifying the polarized laser beam provided from the first optical unit. Accordingly, a compact structure and the outputting of the polarized laser beam having amplified output energy may be enabled, and thus the size and manufacturing costs of the laser beam device and the laser beam handpiece having the same may be reduced.본 발명은 편광 되고 높은 출력 에너지를 갖는 레이저 빔을 출력하는 레이저 빔 장치 및 이를 갖는 레이저 빔 핸드피스에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 레이저 빔 장치는 펌핑 광을 조사하는 광원유닛, 광원유닛으로부터 제공된 펌핑 광에 의해 펌핑되어 편광된 레이저 빔을 발생시키는 제 1광학유닛 및 제 1광학유닛으로부터 제공된 편광된 레이저 빔을 증폭시키는 제 2광학유닛을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 의하여, 컴팩트한 구조를 가지며 출력 에너지가 증폭되고 편광된 레이저 빔을 출력할 수 있으므로 레이저 빔 장치 및 이를 갖는 레이저 빔 핸드피스의 크기 및 제작비용을 절감할 수 있다.
