PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope reducing a diameter of a distal end part by reducing a non use region of the distal end part of an inserting part and capable of properly guiding a treatment tool within a scanning area (observing area) of an ultrasonic wave observing part over a wide range of a lead-out angle (erecting angle of an erecting base) of the treatment tool from a treatment tool lead out opening without increasing operation load and complicating a constitution.SOLUTION: A treatment tool lead-out portion 54 having an erecting base 74 that erects a treatment tool led out of a treatment tool channel is arranged on a base end side of an ultrasonic transducer 60 in a tip part rigid portion 40 of an endoscope insertion section 22.
