PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new compositions and methods to control growth of undesirable vegetation.SOLUTION: A herbicidal composition comprises a synergistically herbicidal effective amount of (a) penoxsulam or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof and (b) mefenacet or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof.
