The invention relates to a device for high-pressure treatment of goods in a sealable high-pressure chamber, having a holding frame in which the high-pressure chamber (2) is held during pressurization, a withdrawing device with which the high-pressure chamber (2) can be withdrawn laterally from the holding frame, at least one closure on the end face having a sealing plug (3a, 3b) for the high-pressure chamber (2), at least one hydraulic drive for moving the closure (3a, 3b) on the end face into the pressure container, a line system with connections with which the high-pressure medium is conveyed into the high-pressure chamber and, after treatment, conveyed back out again, a support device (6a, 6b) which is arranged so as to be moveable between the end faces of the high-pressure chamber (2) and the holding frame and transmits the force between the container closure and holding frame during pressurisation, wherein the axial forces acting on the sealing mechanism from the treatment pressure are absorbed by means of a force-transmission device designed as a semicircular disk (7a, 7b), the round end faces away from the high-pressure chamber, with the end facing the high-pressure chamber having a vertical support surface above and below the axis of the high-pressure container, which on the end facing the high-pressure chamber, flush to the axis of the high-pressure container, has a holder for a hydraulic cylinder with lateral connections for charging with hydraulic liquid, and the semicircular disks (7a, 7b) form a part of the outer shell of the hydraulic cylinder bearing the hydraulic pressure.
