To prevent a grass mower from the decrease of its output POWER caused by the invasion and accumulation of mown grass and foreign matter between a mowing part and a machine body frame, the detachment of a belt caused by its biting-in with a pulley, lifting up and down operation becoming heavy and etc.
SOLUTION: This grass mower is constituted by arranging a covering sheet S1 covering a space between the upper surface of a deck 12 of a small-sized riding type grass mower and the lower part surface of its machine body frame, and preventing the invasion of mown grass, mown branches, foreign matter and etc., at the machine body frame 2 side or the deck 12 side by enabling the exchange of one or at least 2, in a vertical direction toward approximately the front directional side of a machine body-traveling direction and also in an approximately frontal direction.
