PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preserving a pollen wherein the pollen in a sufficient amount, especially the soft X-ray-radiated pollen for creating a seedless fruit can be utilized in an easily treatable state, and the preserved pollen can be used for a long period.SOLUTION: The method for preserving the pollen comprises collecting the pollen from a staminate flower or a bisexual flower, and preserving the pollen in a packaging bag in a vacuum state or in a packaging bag filled with nitrogen gas or carbon dioxide gas at a low temperature.
