Disclosed is a method for automatically sterilizing a food waste disposer. The method comprises the steps of: (a) electrolyzing raw water using a sterilizing module by applying operating voltage to operate a sterilizing control circuit unit (b) storing the electrolyzed raw water in a sterilized water storing unit (c) pumping the sterilized water to a drying furnace using a boost pump and mixing with the provided raw water and (d) operating a grinding motor for several times and sterilizing the drying furnace using the mixed sterilized water and raw water. Accordingly, the present invention facilitates washing and sterilization of food waste inside the drying furnace after completing food waste disposing processes, thereby: maintaining cleanness of the food waste disposer preventing number of microorganisms from being increased inside the drying furnace and enhancing performance and lifetime of the food waste disposer.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015본 발명은 음식물 처리기의 자동 살균 방법을 공개한다. 이 방법은 (a) 살균 제어 회로부가 동작 전압을 인가받아 구동함으로써 살균 모듈이 원수를 전기 분해하는 단계 (b) 상기 전기 분해된 원수가 살균수 저장부에 살균수로 저장되는 단계 (c) 부스트 펌프가 상기 살균수를 건조로로 펌핑하여 기공급되어 있는 원수와 혼합하는 단계 및 (d) 분쇄 모터가 복수회 작동하여 상기 혼합된 살균수 및 원수가 상기 건조로를 살균하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 따라서 본 발명에 의할 경우, 음식물 쓰레기 처리 작업이 완료된 후 건조로 내 음식물 쓰레기 잔여물의 세척 및 살균 작업을 용이하게 할 수 있어 음식물 처리기의 청결을 유지할 수 있고, 건조로 내부에서 미생물이 증식되는 것을 방지하며, 음식물 처리기의 성능 및 수명을 향상시킬 수 있다.
