PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing organic-inorganic composite particles which does not use an organic solvent.SOLUTION: A method for producing organic-inorganic composite particles includes: a step of suspension-polymerizing a mixture containing a radical polymerizable monofunctional monomer and a crosslinkable monomer, silicon alkoxide as a silica precursor, and an inorganic viscosity thickener in an aqueous medium in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator and in the absence of an organic solvent to form an outer shell composed of a crosslinked polymer； and a step of forming a porous structure in which silica particles are connected to each other inside the outer shell from the silicone alkoxide after formation of the outer shell or simultaneously with formation of the outer shell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】有機溶媒を使用しない、有機無機複合粒子の製造方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】ラジカル重合性の単官能単量体及び架橋性単量体と、シリカ前駆体としてのシリコンアルコキシドと、無機系増粘剤とを含む混合物を、ラジカル重合開始剤の存在下かつ有機溶媒の非存在下、水系媒体中で懸濁重合させることで、架橋ポリマーから構成される外殻を形成する工程と、前記外殻の形成後又は外殻の形成と同時にシリコンアルコキシドから、前記外殻の内部にシリカ粒子が互いに連結された多孔質構造体を形成する工程とを含むことを特徴とする有機無機複合粒子の製造方法により上記課題を解決する。【選択図】図１
