A folding line (FL) for folding the absorbent article into two extends along the width direction in the crotch area. A high rigidity area (HR) is provided in an area behind the folding line and including a center in the width direction. The high rigidity area is regulated by an area having rigidity higher than rigidity in an area between the folding line (FL) and the high rigidity area (HR).
