A method to reduce the risk to avian species from wind parks, the method comprising: providing a baiting system configured to attract one or more avian species； and locating the baiting system in an area of or in an area near to the wind park. The invention also extends to a wind park arrangement comprising one or more wind turbines； and a baiting system arranged in a location relative to the one or more wind turbines and configured to attract avian species to said baiting system. Beneficially, the invention reduces the risk presented to avian species by a wind park in an alternative manner compared to the use of deterrent devices and is less harmful to avian species.
