Disclosed is a method for the preparation of an aqueous doripenem solution while minimizing the thermal decomposition of doripenem. It is found that the thermal decomposition of doripenem can be prevented by heating an aqueous doripenem suspension in a flow system, and thus an aqueous doripenem solution can be prepared.
