PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug eluting member efficiently releasing a mixed drug.SOLUTION: When an implantable medical device being essentially foreign matter for the living body, is implanted in a living body, inflammation or immunological reaction is sometimes induced. The living body sometimes deals with the inflammation or immunological reaction by enclosing the peripheries of the medical device with collagen or the like, fibrillating tissue, and isolating the medical device from the tissue. A drug eluting substrate is disposed at a tissue-contacting part of the medical device to inhibit tissue fibrillation.
