Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Unterdrucktherapie von Wunden umfassend, (a) ein Abdeckmaterial zum luftdichten Verschließen eines Wundraums (b) gegebenenfalls ein Mittel zum Anschließen einer Unterdruckquelle und (c) eine Wundauflage, enthaltend (c1) einen offenzelligen Schaumstoff, der mit (c2) einer Salbengrundlage benetzt ist, sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer entsprechenden Wundauflage. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung die Verwendung eines offenzelligen Schaumstoffs, der mit einer Salbengrundlage benetzt ist, zur Anwendung als Wundauflage in der Unterdrucktherapie von Wunden.Device for negative pressure wound therapy, comprises (a) a cover material (2) for air-tight sealing of the wound space (b) optionally a connector (4) of a negative pressure source (7) and (c) a wound dressing comprising an open-cell foam (3) which is soaked with an ointment base which has a dropping point of 20-80[deg] C, where the proportion of ointment base is 10-95 wt.%, relative to the total weight of the wound dressing. Independent claims are included for: (1) manufacture of a wound dressing, comprising heating an ointment base above the dropping point, introducing an open-cell foam into the heated ointment base, so that the foam is soaked with the ointment base, optionally temporarily compressing the foam, preferably to at least 50% and up to a maximum of 90% of its original volume in order to ensure that the internal surface of the foam is fully soaked with the ointment base, and optionally removing the surplus ointment base, preferably by squeezing the foam and (2) the wound dressing obtained by the above process.
