PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply perform switching to the housed state of a seedling rest.SOLUTION: A seedling rest 15 is a divided structure having a main seedling placing part 15A and a divided seedling placing part 15B, and a connecting mechanism 34 is provided for connecting the main seedling placing part 15A and the divided seedling placing part 15B to each other in the state of allowing the lateral sliding and the vertical rocking of the divided seedling placing part 15B to the main seedling placing part 15A. The connecting mechanism 34 is constructed so that the seedling rest 15 can be switched between the working state where the main seedling placing part 15A and the divided seedling placing part 15B are laterally connected to each other and the housed state where the divided seedling placing part 15B is superposed on the main seedling placing part 15A, the proper rocking supporting point position P1 of the divided seedling placing part 15B for locating the divided seedling placing part 15B in the housed position and the proper rocking operating position P2 are set, and the proper rocking supporting point position P1 is located laterally outside of the machine body from the dividing end of the main seedling placing part 15A.
