An agricultural harvester (10) includes a header (18) with an infeed assembly (72) including a driving element (74) configured to rotate. The agricultural harvester (10) is characterized by a hollow tube (76) rotationally coupled to the driving element (74) and having a plurality of openings (102) formed therein; and at least one finger unit (78) rotatably held within the hollow tube (76). Each finger unit (76) includes: a finger hub (80) having at least one pivoting aperture (82) formed therein and at least one driving aperture (84) formed therein; a pivoting finger (86) pivotally held within the at least one pivoting aperture (82) and configured to at least partially extend out of one of the openings (102) of the hollow tube (76) during rotation; and a driving finger (88) fixedly held within the at least one driving aperture (84) and configured to at least partially extend into one of the openings (102) of the hollow tube (76) to rotate the finger unit (78) by the hollow tube (76).
