PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus, image processing apparatus and program allowing an operator to easily recognize a position in the whole lumen to which a displayed fly-through image corresponds while moving a view point.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a virtual endoscopic image generating part a lumenal image generating part and a control part. The virtual endoscopic image generating part generates a virtual endoscopic image of the inside of a lumen included in three-dimensional image data projected from a prescribed direction of line of sight. The lumenal image generating part extracts the whole lumen by reversing the luminance of inside and outside of the lumen on the whole lumen whose virtual endoscopic image is generated, and generates a lumenal image in which the contour of the lumen from a view point is visualized with the view point being a prescribed position outside the extracted whole lumen.
