PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sunscreen cosmetics that are free of a dry or tight feeling of skin after application, have a good feeling in use, and show high ultraviolet protection effect.SOLUTION: Sunscreen cosmetics contain: a particulate zinc oxide surface-treated with N-acylamino acid or a salt thereof, for example with an average primary particle size of 10-150 nm； a volatile oil with a boiling point of 200°C or less under 1 atm； and trimethylsiloxysilicate, and may further contain polyether-modified silicone, or polyglycerol-modified silicone.
