The present invention relates to a novel use of a PPAR&delta； agonist and, particularly, to antibacterial activities, diabetic foot ulcer treatment and prevention ettects, and gash and burn treatment effects of a PPAR&delta； agonist. The PPAR&delta； agonist has excellent wound treating efficiency through the cell movement and proliferation of epidermal keratinocytes and has excellent ulcer treating efficiency in a diabetic ulcer animal model, so as to effectively treat gash, burn, and foot ulcer caused by diabetic complications.본 발명은 피피에이알 델타(PPARδ) 활성물질(agonist)의 새로운 용도에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로는 PPARδ 활성물질의 감염치료(antibacterial activities), 당뇨성 족부궤양 치료 및 예방 효능과 창상 및 화상 치료 효능에 대한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 피피에이알 델타(PPARδ) 활성물질(agonist)은 메치실린 및 벤코마이신 저항성 세균에 대한 항균활성이 우수하여 다제약물 내성 세균성 감염의 예방 또는 치료제로 이용 가능하며, 인체 표피세포(epidermal keratinocytes)의 세포 이동 및 증식을 통한 상처치료 효능 및 당뇨궤양 질환동물 모델에서의 궤양 치료 효능이 뛰어나 창상 및 화상치료와 당뇨합병증으로 인한 족부 궤양 치료에 우수한 효능이 있다.
