The present invention relates to a functional beverage composition and a manufacturing method thereof, and more specifically, to a functional beverage composition which mixes and extracts mushrooms, grains and root vegetables to contain beta-glucan in a large volume, and has an excellent functionality (preference) and a high activity, and to a manufacturing method thereof. The beverage composition of the present invention uses sparassis crispa and oyster mushrooms as materials to contain a high content of beta-glucan, increases a functionality, which cannot be obtained from mushrooms, through a specific mixture ratio of various grains (barley, brown rice, malt, and oats), and applies burdocks as root vegetables together to increase antioxidant activities.
