PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article comprising an absorbent core having a high basis weight part and a low basis weight part, capable of efficiently utilizing an absorption performance of the absorbent core.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 has an absorber 40 having an absorbent core 40a and a core wrap 40b, and an indicator 80 positioned on a non-skin facing surface side of the absorber. The absorbent core has a high basis weight part 47 and a low basis weight part 48 containing a basis weight lower than a basis weight of the high basis weight part. The high basis weight part extends in a first direction which is one of a cross direction and a width direction.
