PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which is thin, hardly causes swelling inhibition of water absorptive resin powder, and is excellent in body fluid absorptivity.
SOLUTION: An absorptive sheet 4 includes a first sheet 41, a second sheet 42, and water absorptive resin powder 43 fixed by an adhesive between the first and a second sheets 41, 42. A plurality of areas 44 where the absorptive resin powder 43 exhists are formed between the sheets 41, 42. The plurality of absorptive resin powder-existing areas 44 are extended in the longitudinal direction of the absorptive sheet 4 and arranged parallel at predetermined intervals in the width direction. Spaces between absorptive resin powder-existing areas 44, 44 adjacent to each other and both end parts 4a, 4a of the absorptive sheet 4 in the width direction are water absorptive resin non-existing areas 45 where the water absorptive resin powder 43 does not exist and the first and second sheets 41, 42 are joined in the water absorptive resin non-existing areas 45. A part of each of the water absorptive resin non-existing areas 45 are sheet releasing areas where the first and second sheets 41, 42 can be peeled off by water absorption or swelling of the water absorptive resin powder 43.
