<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an itching suppression composition which is safe and exhibits clear effectiveness even in a long-term use. <；P>；SOLUTION: The itching suppression composition is obtained by using, as an effective component, an extract of at least one vegetable selected from the group consisting of Compositae genus Aster (Aster tataricus, Aster tripolium, Aster leiophyllus, Aster pilosus, Aster ageratoides, Aster scaber, Aster subulatus, Aster subulatus var, subulatus, and Aster iinumae), Araceae genus Pinellia (Pinellia ternata and Pinellia tripartita), and Liliaceae genus Smilax (Smilax glabra, Smilax siseboldii, Smilax riparia, and Smilax nipponica).
