PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display apparatus and a medical image diagnostic system, capable of easily knowing in which direction cross-section a tomogram is captured for a subject, by moving the tomogram according to the movement of an image display device on which the tomogram of the subject is displayed.SOLUTION: A medical image display apparatus (100) is a portable image display apparatus capable of displaying an image on an image display part (130) and being moved and tilted to an optional position by an operator (10). The medical image display apparatus includes: an image data storage part (110) for storing image data of a three-dimensional image of the interior of a subject a position detecting part (140) for detecting a travel amount and a tilt amount of the moved portable image display apparatus and an image reconstruction part (120) for reconstructing a tomogram according to the travel amount and the tilt amount. The image display part displays the tomogram reconstructed by the image reconstruction part.
