PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove odor containing ammonia without generating waste products, which is generated from livestock excrement such as cattle excrement, swine excrement, and poultry manure.
SOLUTION: The odor containing a high level of ammonia, which is generated from livestock excrement such as cattle excrement, swine excrement, and poultry manure, is removed by contact with a deodorizer containing at least one kind of organic acid to be selected among phosphoric acid, malic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, and lactic acid. The reaction liquid after deodorization is mixed with the excrement, so as to remove the odor without generating the waste products.
