PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To try to avoid calling medical workers by a call operation method for other personnel having nothing to do with medical treatment in a nurse call system that employs similar call operation methods for calling medical workers and other non-medical personnel.SOLUTION: If a patient calls by maneuvering the nurse call operator 3 of the nurse call system, a call informing part 14 is executed to call a nurse call sub-base unit 21 carried by a medical worker in charge of the patient. If the patient calls non-medical personnel by maneuvering another call operator 4, the call informing part 14 is not executed but other nurse call sub-base units 22, 23 are called for non-medical personnel. Accordingly the patient will be able to call non-medical personnel without the need to learn any other complicated call method than the nurse call system operation method, and call medical workers only by the nurse call system operation alone.
