There is disclosed a tool carrier (2) for mounting on a lift on a working vehicle, preferably a tractor with a lift, and comprising a base (4) with a first- and a second end boundary (6, 8) and with attachment arrangements (10, 12) for attachment of a lift system and a top rod, and a console (24) for attachment of a tool (28), where the console (24) consists of a frame (22, 20) for attachment of a tool (28), the longest sides of said frame consists of telescopic tubes, said frame being peculiar in that it is connected with the base (4) by sliced telescopic tubes (16, 18) for performance of a displacement of the console (24) parallel with the centre axis of the sliced telescopic tubes between two outer positions located respectively outside the first- and the second end boundary of the base (4). Hereby is provided a tool carrier which does not protrude far ahead of the working vehicle, and which during change of side of the console (24), does not cause unnecessary load on the front lift system of the working vehicle, and does not occupy much space in front of the working vehicle and thus reduces visibility during road transport.
