The ophthalmic aspiration system can be used with the handpiece and vacuum source. The suction system comprises a second tube connected to the first tube and a vacuum source coupled to the handpiece . The filter assembly is connected to both tubes to both filtering out the particles that are sucked into the system . The second tube has a smaller inner diameter than the inner diameter of the first tube .
