The present invention relates to a medical stent having a concave and convex part formed on the surface thereof, and to a method for producing the same. The method comprises the steps of: producing a metal oxide film on the surface thereof by anodizing a metal stent having a tube shape； producing a concave and convex part on the surface of the stent by removing the metal oxide film from the stent； producing a porous thin film on the surface of the stent by heating the stent having a concave and convex part formed thereon； changing the porous thin film into a hydrophilic state； and feeding a medicine into pores of the hydrophilic porous thin film. Accordingly, a concave and convex part is formed on the surface of the stent, and an anodized surface is removed, so the surface of the stent is prevented from being peeled and flowing in blood vessels. Moreover, a hydrophilic porous thin film is produced on the surface of the concave and convex part of the stent through a heating treatment, and then a medicine for inhibiting the proliferation of neo-intimal cells is fed, so the proliferation of neo-intimal cells in blood vessels is inhibited.본 발명은, 표면에 요철이 형성된 의료용 스텐트 및 그 제조방법에 있어서, 관 형상의 금속 스텐트를 양극산화하여 표면에 금속산화막을 형성시키는 단계와； 상기 스텐트로부터 상기 금속산화막을 제거하여 상기 스텐트의 표면에 요철을 형성하는 단계와； 요철이 형성된 상기 스텐트를 열처리하여 상기 스텐트의 표면에 다공성 박막을 형성하는 단계와； 상기 다공성 박막을 친수성 상태로 변화시키는 단계와； 친수성인 상기 다공성 박막의 기공 내에 약물을 주입하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 기술적 요지로 한다. 이에 의해 스텐트의 표면에 요철이 형성되며, 양극산화된 표면을 제거시키기 때문에 표면이 탈리되어 혈관 내부에서 돌아다니는 것을 방지하는 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 또한 열처리를 통해 스텐트의 요철 표면에 친수성의 다공성 박막을 형성시킨 후, 신생 내막세포 증식 억제 약물을 주입하여 혈관 내에서 신생 내막세포 증식을 억제하는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
