The present invention provides a device for capturing a harmful insect. The device for capturing an insect including a wasp by using an attractant comprises: a lower main body which stores a fixed amount of an attractant； an upper main body of which the bottom end communicates with an open upper part of the lower main body, and in which a mesh body is fixed and installed in the internal space and a plurality of inlets are formed to penetrate the external surface thereof so that an insect attracted by the attractant discharged outwardly through the mesh body can enter the internal space； a connecting pipe body which is fixed and installed to the upper main body so that an open one end of the connecting pipe body can communicate with a cut unit formed on the external surface of the upper main body in a cut shape and thus, the insect attracted to the inside of the upper main body through the inlets can be guided and move； and a capturing body of which the open top end communicates with a falling hole formed to penetrate the bottom surface of the connecting pipe body, and which captures the insects falling through the falling hole after a fixed capturing amount of insects is satisfied.
