PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponic culture method that enables mass production of fruit vegetables such as tomato having low potassium.SOLUTION: The method focuses on a finding that when a plant is provided with a sufficient fertilizer and a stem blooms a flower, the stem has accumulated sufficient nutrients. For example, when plural roots are hydroponically grown under the same culture conditions and one specified flower blooms, the time when one specified flower blooms among plural roots is determined as a reference point. A normal fertilizer containing at least three major fertilizer elements of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium is provided before the reference point. After the reference point, a fertilizer composed of arbitrary elements where standard concentration of potassium, etc. is lower is provided. And fruits based on flowers that blooms after the reference point are harvested.【課題】 例えば、低カリウムのトマト等の果菜類を大量栽培可能にした水耕栽培方法である。【解決手段】 肥料を十分に与えて茎に花がつけば、その茎には十分な栄養素が蓄えられている点に着目したものである。例えば、同一の栽培条件下で水耕されている複数の株のなかで特定の花が咲いたとき、その開花時期を基準にして、その基準前は、少なくとも肥料の三大要素である窒素、リン及びカリウムを含んだ通常肥料を与える。その基準後は、カリウム等の標準濃度を低くした任意の肥料要素からなる肥料を与える。そして、上記基準後に開花した花に基づいて結実した実を収穫する。【選択図】 図１
