The patent relates to an elastic dog harness (1) comprising a back strap (17), a leash ring located on the axis line (22) fixed on the section thereof crossing the axis line (21) for attaching a leash, a chest strap (2) surrounding the neck and chest of the dog, threaded through a moving frame (3) on both sides of the axis line (21), equipped with an elastic element (23), and a belly strap (16) equipped with a buckle portion (19). The moving frame (3) is divided, having at least one limiting element opening (3.c) and a smaller opening for a chest strap part crossing the chest bone (14), separated by a dividing element (3.b). A chest strap part holding a moving frame (5) is threaded through the moving frame (3), the limiting element opening (3.c) thereof, forming a loose loop in a bulging part in the direction of the chest strap part crossing the chest bone (14) as a stretching limiting element (8), limiting the extent of stretching of the elastic element (23) holding the moving frame (3) tightly, as a result of which the service life of the primarily stretching portion (26) of sized length, extending in the direction of the back strap (17), located in a channel portion (12) covered by the chest strap part holding a moving frame (5), is increased.
