PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when a mowing device is switched between a free state and a lock state, an appropriate load is required to prevent the mowing device from being raised during mowing work, and if the weight of the mowing device is increased, the weight of a crawler running device increases when the mowing device is placed in the lock state at a raised position, with the result that the whole weight is likely to increase to maintain the weight balance of the machine body and the operability is impaired.SOLUTION: A grass mower is configured in such a manner that: a truck frame 5 is fittedly supported about a sprocket shaft 4 provided protrusively from both left and right sides of a transmission case 1 a mowing frame 9 is attached to an upper side of the transmission case 1 the mowing frame 9 is structured vertically rotatably about the sprocket shaft 4 provided on one side part of both the truck frame 5 and the mowing frame 9 is a lock mechanism 10 for switching the mowing frame 9 between a free state and a lock state in which the mowing frame 9 is locked and a spring 11 is provided that energizes the mowing device 6 downward with respect to the truck frame 5.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】刈取装置をフリー状態とロック状態とに切替える場合、刈取装置が刈取作業中に浮き上がらないための相応の荷重を要し、又、この刈取装置の重量を重くすれば、上昇位置でロック状態にするときはクローラ走行装置側の重量を重くする形態となり、機体の重量バランスを保持するために全体重量が重くなり易く、操作性を低下するものである。【解決手段】伝動ケース1の左右両側部に張出して設けたスプロケット軸4の周りに、トラックフレーム5を嵌合支持し、伝動ケース1の上側には刈取フレーム9を装着して、この刈取フレーム9を前記スプロケット軸4の周りに上下回動可能に構成し、前記トラックフレーム5と刈取フレーム9との一側部には、前記刈取フレーム9がフリー状態と固定するロック状態とに切替えるロック機構10を設け、刈取装置6をトラックフレーム5に対して下動附勢するスプリング11を設けたことを特徴とする草刈機の構成とする。【選択図】図1
