PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the smell of a pet whereabouts space in a building from reaching an upper storage space.SOLUTION: A building 1 includes a pet whereabouts space 11 which has an entrance 10 opening to a building whereabouts space A, and an upper storage space 12 which is partitioned from and installed above the pet whereabouts space 11. A decorative plate 20 which inhibits adsorption of smell components is installed on the side wall surface 11a of the pet whereabouts space 11. A ventilating hole 41 is installed above the outside of the entrance 10 of the pet whereabouts space 11 and on the ceiling surface A1 of the building whereabouts space A.
