This invention relates to an absorbent composition having a biodegradable polymer and water absorbent hydrophilic soft polymer surface modifier . The absorbent composition " absorption under load test " and when applied to " gel permeability test " , respectively, improved absorbency under load , and shows the gel layer permeability.
