A connector system 60 for a ventilation system. Connector system 60 comprising: a first body 61 with a cavity, first body 61 comprising: a first port 62 fluidly connected to the cavity for connection to a conduit system； a second port 64 fluidly connected to first port 62 via the cavity for connection a first gas line 42, such as an exhaust, or air supply； a third port 66 for receiving a second gas line 46 from the conduit system, with second gas line 46 extending from first port 62 to third port 66 within the cavity, but is not in fluid communication with the cavity, the third port 66 includes a seal 67 preventing gas escaping from the cavity via third port 66 when the second gas line 46 is positioned therein； a fourth port 68 including a first removable closure 69, the fourth port 68 fluidly connects the cavity to the external environment when open； and a second body 70 for connection to the second gas line 46, the second body 70 including a second removable closure 75 for closing the second gas line 46. Described in terms of providing respiratory therapy to an infant.
