PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of suitably displaying ultrasonic diagnostic images having an aspect ratio in a wide range.
SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is provided with: an image generation part for supplying a plurality of drive signals to an ultrasonic probe including a plurality of ultrasonic transducers which transmit and receive ultrasonic waves, processing a plurality of reception signals outputted from the ultrasonic probe and thus generating image signals indicating the ultrasonic diagnostic images and a display part including a flexible display, for displaying the ultrasonic diagnostic images on the basis of the image signals generated by the image generation part.
