The present invention relates to a method and at least one arrangement for comparative imaging in ophthalmological devices. An improvement in the colour reproduction can be achieved by a semi-automatic white balance. For this purpose, some of the light is coupled out or removed from the illumination beam path such that this light can be directed onto an RGB sensor, which is positioned at a suitable location and which detects the data of the colours and intensity and transmits these data to a data acquisition system and stores them and, in a further step, can compare them with the image data of the eye and stores these as reference and correction data.
