The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating liver fibrosis comprising GPR119 ligand as an active ingredient. The composition comprising the GPR119 ligand according to the present invention as an active ingredient significantly inhibits the expression of collagen I, transforming growth factor beta (TGF beta) and alpha-smooth muscle actin (alpha-SMA) In addition, it has an effect of significantly inhibiting proliferation of hepatic stellate cells.
