PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved technology which enhances reliability of elasticity information obtained by using a region of interest.SOLUTION: A region of interest setting section 60 sets a tumor ROI (region of interest of a tumor) for each of plural frames, based on a designated point designated by a user. A frame selection part 70 selects a diagnostic frame from among the plural frames based on a size of the tumor ROI set for each frame by the region of interest setting section 60.
