The camera stand may include a housing containing a camera and one or more light sources. Thus, the camera and the light source may be directed to the medical dosage-dispensing staging area to capture the medical dosage-dispensing image of the medical dosage-dispensing staging area. The camera stand may include an adjustable support positionable at a plurality of locations to position the camera and light source relative to the medical dose dispensing staging area. A base with a detachable tray containing a medical container engagement feature may be provided.
