Methods of treating at least one condition chosen from pain, inflammation, and fever in a critically ill patient in need thereof, comprising administering to the critically ill patient an intravenous pharmaceutical composition comprising ibuprofen using a first dosage regimen, wherein the first dosage regimen produces a first pharmacokinetic profile in critically ill patients that is about equivalent to a second pharmacokinetic profile produced by administration of the intravenous pharmaceutical composition using a second dosage regimen of ibuprofen to non-critically ill patients, wherein the at least one condition of the critically ill patient is thereby treated.La présente invention concerne des méthodes de traitement dau moins une affection, choisie parmi la douleur, linflammation et la fièvre, chez un patient gravement atteint en ayant besoin, lesdites méthodes impliquant ladministration, au patient gravement atteint, par voie intraveineuse et en respectant une première posologie, dune composition pharmaceutique contenant de libuprofène, ladite première posologie étant associée chez les patients gravement atteints à un premier profil pharmacocinétique pratiquement équivalent à un second profil pharmacocinétique associé à ladministration, par voie intraveineuse et en respectant une seconde posologie, de la composition pharmaceutique dibuprofène à des patients moins gravement atteints, ladite administration permettant de traiter ladite affection dont souffre le patient gravement atteint.
