The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for skin whitening and elasticity improvement containing an ethanol extract of Chrysanthemum indicum Linne flower as an effective ingredient and, more specifically, to a cosmetic composition exhibiting an effect of skin whitening and elasticity improvement containing an extract, as an effective ingredient, which is obtained by adding 500-2,000 parts by weight of ethanol to 100 parts by weight of pulverized Chrysanthemum indicum Linne flower and extracting the mixture for 12-48 hours. The cosmetic composition of the present invention can exhibit excellent skin whitening and elasticity improvement effects through inhibition of melanin accumulation of skin cells, collagen formation of skin fibroblasts, and expression control of skin elasticity-related genes. In addition, the ethanol extract of Chrysanthemum indicum Linne flower, which is an effective ingredient of the cosmetic composition, can be stably maintained in a dissolved or mixed state with a solvent or an excipient mainly used in cosmetics, and can be applied in various cosmetic forms.본 발명은 감국 꽃 에탄올 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 미백 및 탄력 증진용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 감국 꽃의 분쇄물 100중량부에 에탄올 500 내지 2000중량부를 첨가하고 12 내지 48시간 추출하여 수득한 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하여 피부 미백 및 탄력 증진 효과를 나타내는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 화장료 조성물은 피부세포의 멜라닌 축적 억제, 피부섬유아세포의 콜라겐 형성 및 피부 탄력 관련 유전자의 발현 조절을 통하여 우수한 피부 미백 및 탄력 증진 효과를 나타낼 수 있다. 또한 본 발명 화장료 조성물의 유효성분인 감국 꽃 에탄올 추출물은 화장품에 주로 사용되는 용매 또는 부형제와 안정적으로 용해 또는 혼합된 상태를 유지할 수 있어 다양한 화장품 형태로 적용할 수 있다.
