The present invention relates to gel delivery system, comprising primary and secondary moieties, a temperature resistant biopolymer and a polymer, which are efficiently mixed or arranged to form a gel system with which the system controls delivery or release. As primary component of the system, the biopolymer gel-moiety is produced to enable remaining as not being softened by body surface temperature 32℃ up to 37℃ or higher.The primary moiety is sensitive to abnormal activity of a specific analyte and can be irreversibly degraded by the analyte to leave the system many interstitial channels invisible but wherein a change of lowering viscosity (i.e. increasing permeability) of the system is made thus allowing solutes (or dispersed substances), small or large, to diffuse through there. Thus such gel system can detect and monitor the level of the analyte in an area and delivers solutes (or dispersed substances) in response abnormal levels of the analyte. The invention also provides drug delivery systems and sensors for detecting an analyte utilizing such character of a gel.本發明係關於一種於高溫下耐軟化之凝膠投藥系統,特徵在於包含一種抗高溫融解之明膠,與一種與明膠均勻混合的聚合物,其中該抗高溫融解之明膠可保持在體表溫度至37℃或以上之溫度下維持其凝膠狀態,且能隨著一明膠分解酵素(例如,從患部逸出的異常活性的特定酵素)之分泌量,而於該投藥系統形成不同滲透度的間隙通道(interstitial channels),使活性物質得以不同擴散程度通過所形成之通道擴散。因此,本發明亦利用具有此特性之凝膠投藥系統偵測被分析物,不僅可供用作為可依患部嚴重程度釋出藥物之控釋藥物遞送系統,亦能用作為檢測一區域內特定被分析物或活性物質之分泌的感應器。
