I. A blended suture for surgical application, the suture comprising of: atleast one source of collagen extracted from animal skin fibre, wherein said animal including Bubalus bubalis atleast one source of cotton fibre which is cleaned with thrasher separator and dried in a shaker means at room temperature for about 2 to 3 hours wherein, said animal skin fibre of about 90 g is mixed with cotton fibre of about 10 g and then passed through blending machine at a voltage of about 355 - 420 V and at a speed of about 610 -720 rpm to obtain composites wherein, said composites are converted into a web using atleast one miniature carding machine at a voltage of about 320 - 440 V and at a speed of 350 - 490 rpm. wherein, said web is poured continuously on a roving machine at a twist of about 50 tpm using a spindle speed of.about 150 rpm, when said web is provided in round structure to form a continuous silver of about 2.5mm thickness and about 0.9 mm diameter ranges. wherein, said blended suture is obtained when being transferred to a spinning machine at a roving count of about 1.36 Ne and at a spindle speed of about 7500 rpm.
